Morphclan~
“Hello young one.” Sapphire told you “We are Morphclan, the strongest clan in the forest.” The white tiger mewed. You looked at her confused “Why is your clan name Morphclan?” You asked. Sapphire sat down and began to speak “It is a long story.” She meowed “Do you wish to hear it?” you nod eagerly “Okay then, here we go. Morphclan started long ago, before any of the other clans. Our job was to keep Twolegs out of the forest permanently, for they caused pain and suffering, taking cats unwillingly into their nests. We fought hard and continue to fight today, most cats in the forest, outside of Morphclan, haven’t ever seen a Twoleg.” She told you “Morphclan received its name due to the fact that our first leader, Distortstar, had the power to morph into any animal he pleased, using his power to keep twolegs out. Distortstar earned his power one day when he was out hunting. He found a peculiar glowing stone. He took it back to camp with him that day, and placed it in that shallow pool over there.” She said, flicking her tail to the shining silver water “The water activated something in the stone, causing the water to turn silver. Distortstar had forgotten about the rock after a few days and drank the water. Nothing happened. That night before going to his den, Distortstar enjoyed a plum rabbit. He dreamed of the rabbit that night, its taste and scent clouding his mind. That morning Distortstar was gone, replaced by a plum rabbit. The rabbit hopped out of his den and bounced up to highrock, as if he was to call a clan meeting! What is that you ask? If the rabbit was Distortstar? Oh yes! Indeed it was! When he drank the water it gave him the ability to morph. When he ate the rabbit he got the ability to transform into that rabbit, and when he thought about it, he did!” you nod, understanding now “So are you a real white tiger? Or did you just morph into one?” you ask Sapphire. “I am a real white tiger.” She told you, amused “Distortstar learned of his newfound power and told the cats of his clan. They all gained the power, and swore never to tell the other clans. I am Distortstar’s great granddaughter. What Distortstar never told the cats, because he didn’t know himself, that you can only be morphed for two hours, or you will not be able to morph back, or morph again. If you drink the water again you will be able to morph again, but not into your first form, for you had stayed in a different form for too long, so that was now your form that you must turn back to. Distortstar stayed as a tiger for too long, and he became a tiger.” She spoke “Would you like to join Morphclan?”

Sapphire yawned and stretched, it was just morning, and she needed to order patrols. It was weird, she didn't have a deputy or co-leader yet.
